Starting a Business or Relocating Here
Saint Peter is the perfect place to start a business or relocate to make a life. The Chamber received a telephone call recently asking, “Do you have big box stores there, because we are thinking about moving and we really want one.” Well, the answer was there are no big box stores in town, but you will find everything you need. We’re an arts village that thrives on history, character and charm. Hundreds of businesses find this scene an awesome fit, as do thousands of residents. This community has many, many selling points, but please realize the advantages with being 12 miles north of a successful regional center in Mankato/North Mankato and 50 miles south of a major metropolitan area in the Twin Cities. Like we say, you can find everything you need in Saint Peter, with reasonable prices thanks to friendly competition, and nearby communities love the easy access to our amazing offerings. We see many friends from other cities shopping, dining and finding services here as they build lifelong business relationships. Saint Peter truly is a wonderful place to live, work, visit and play.

Saint Peter Jobs
You have come to the right place to explore opportunities with jobs and careers! Saint Peter, and in some cases the surrounding area, has several openings. Community leaders have made huge strides in the past few years with adding housing, so accommodations are here for you as you join the local workforce.
Chamber Bucks
Chamber Bucks can be spent just like money at Chamber-member businesses and organizations. Chamber Bucks are like gift cards in that they are great to give to family members and friends at times of birthdays, holidays and “thinking of you”. Some businesses and organizations give Chamber Bucks to employees to recognize their milestones, show appreciation or creatively give recognition. When an organization receives Chamber Bucks, they simply bring them to the Chamber office at 101 S. Front St. to receive a check to reimburse them on a one-to-one basis ($20 in Chamber Bucks earns you a $20 check from the Chamber). Chamber Bucks come in denominations of $20s, $10s and $5s. Some community festivals award Chamber Bucks as prizes. Chamber Bucks can be paid for with a check or cash.
Bring your Chamber Bucks to the Chamber office at 101 S. Front Street, e-mail us at Edlee@stpeterchamber.com or call us at 507-934-3400 if you would like us to deliver a reimbursement check. Chamber Bucks definitely help stimulate the local economy and enhance quality of life, and that is what the Chamber’s mission is all about!
